I have been trying to use Drive Mode in order to have my sms read to me when driving. Unfortunately I speak Swedish and therefore it's impossible to understand when sms's are read by an English TTS. I installed SVOX (and my language) and battled it for a couple of hours.
It seemed impossible to make even "Navigation" use Swedish trough SVOX without changing my phone language from English to Swedish (I like it in English). Is it really necessary to use the same language on the phone as the TTS in order to make it work?
Even though I finally got the Google Navigation app use my svox TTS in swedish, the drive-mode feature insisted on reading my incoming sms's with the english TTS !!?!
Does anyone out there successfully got Drive-mode reading SMS's with svox?
