I have the Droid Incredible 2 (obviously) with 2.3.4 and I want to root it. I am following this guide: http://androidforums.com/incredible...ade-2-3-4-gingerbread-2-3-3-prepare-root.html
And I install the drivers just like it says and I do everything like it said to do. Well I go into the command prompt and after plugging the phone in I type what it says to type. But the only problem I am having is it isn't showing the phone. The phone is in charge only mode. When I first plugged the phone in it downloaded some drivers, but at the end it said 3 drivers succeeded and 1 driver (it is just called Android Phone) didn't exceed and I have no idea how to get past this!
Can anyone please help me! If that guide isn't really the way to go and you guys know of a better way please let me know!
Also, how would I find something to learn more advanced stuff about rooting?
