Help droid 2 3G internet keeps turning itself off

i have been using my phone's 3G internet all weekend and all day today and now it has just stopped. i have tried restarting my phone and that doesnt do anything. the only thing that helps is putting it in airplane mode and taking it back out. it work for about 1 min. then it stops working again. the wifi works just fine. i will be in the middle of looking at a page and it will just shut me out saying that it has lost internet connection. i have full bars and when the internet is on, it will run fast. does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you using juice defender or any other battery saver? Also check to make sure you don't have data timeouts set.

There's been a lot of reports of 3G drops on Droid 2's ... it possible the network hicupped. Yesterday for example I had full bars for a 5 minute period but no data connection even while the 3G symbol was present.
