Help Droid 2 charging problems

Hey I just bought this droid 2 from a friend a few days ago and it works fine besides when the phone is on and I plug my charger in the screen will just freak out it just starts tapping and sliding by itself .. so I just turn the phone off and charge it that way and it works fine but gets anoyging when I need to use it I know the phone is rooted and has stock 2.2 firmware so I don't know why its doing this and also the charger im using is a lg usb charger and im using a usb to wall adapter maby its the charger?? Idk please help!!

Using non-Motorola chargers or ones with faulty connections will trigger screen problems due to uneven voltages and problems with the current.

I use a lg charger that was for my ally for my droid 2. But then again the voltages are the same. I would try liberty.

Ghosting due to non-Moto chargers has been confirmed for a while. Suggesting to ROM a phone isn't really prudent to the problem.

Sometimes it ghost-touches, sometimes it doesn't. I use any cable I have available, it all depends on the connection.
