Help Droid 2 Global touch screen problem please help

Ok so ive had my phone for like almost a year and i loved it until about 3 or 4 months ago when all the problems started. It began with like half an inch of the right side of the touch screen not working. Thats now elevated to that entire half of my phone not working, also my phone will click things without me touching it and some of the things are on the side that doesnt work? It makes impossible to do almost anything. I cant download apps because i cant click on them, texting is near impossible, im just ready to litterally throw this thing through a wall can someone please help me

There is probably a piece of lint or some build-up in the crack around the edge of the touchscreen. Try to clean it out with the tip of a needle.

My DROID 2 is doing the same thing, except it hasn't advanced to half of the screen not working. It's just the right half inch or so. I don't think it's anything that is in the cracks of the side. But I completely understand your frustration.
