Droid 2 internal storage

How do I get my downloads and other files to save to my internal storage instead of the sd card? I just switched from a blackberry that would allow for easier selection of where to store files.
 
By default, images and audio, stuff like that saves on the SD and apps are installed in memory -- what you call internal storage. Apps can then be moved to SD to free up memory, but that’s another subject. There’s not enough room in memory to store all the images and such you’re likely to accumulate. And I doubt it would do you much good even if there was a way to do that.
