Droid 2 keyboard?

Hey everyone,
im due for my upgrade soon, and im getting a droid on verizon. ive had my eyes on the droid 2 r2d2, but I was in my local store today and the employee said the d2 is the worst droid ever because the qwerty keyboard is just extra bulk and nobody ever uses it anymore due to touch screens. what are your guys's opinions on this? im deceiding between this and the droid incredible.
also, any idea why the r2d2 is $100 CHEAPER right now than the d2?

I just got the r2d2 and i love it..I got it for the keyboard..And I think it's cheaper because the processor is a bit smaller than the reg droid 2

Personally I prefer the virtual keyboard on my Droid X... my fiance prefers the physical keyboard on her OG Droid. Both methodologies work it's simply a matter of personal preference. If you prefer a physical keyboard than I'd say go for the R2D2...
