Can you elaborate on how the D2 failed you? It will be great if you can provide examples and details.
Ok. I actually made a list when Verizon asked me why I wanted to return it:
-Call quality was terrible (hollow/echo, and a touch of white noise - could be from noise reduction)
-The Wifi Speeds (at home on a 30/30 network were around 15/5 - I know that wifi is inherintly slower than hardwire, but that's unforgivable)
-Lack of USB Streaming of XM/Pandora/Slacker (that's a big deal to me - if my iPhone could do it, why can't the Droid?)
-Mass Storage (for MP3 access in my car) was very clunky. No matter what order I'd hook up the USB/Power on Stereo/Plug in device, it failed 90% of the time
-Keyboard on the Droid2 didn't feel good at all, and I wasn't very pleased with the touchscreen keypad
-Battery life wasn't as economic as I'd like (considering it's got a powerful processor and decent screen, I understand). Having to constantly use ATK to shut off background processes so they didn't kill the battery was slightly annoying.
So that's my laundry list of "why I didn't like the Droid2."
I don't like the iPhone, but it does what I want, when I want (especially after a jailbreaking).
