Help Droid 2 Remove Device Admin

I have been searching various threads to figure out how to disable the PIN lock on my D2. My IT guy has, I believe, set things up in Exchange Active Sync to not require a password. Now the problem is that even if I remove my exchange account, I do not have access to disable the password. That option is still greyed out. I read somewhere that removing the device admin would work. I see the device admin for corporate sync but cannot delete it. ??
