Help Droid 2 "rings" when USB plugged in

How do I turn off this notification? Its driving me batty, I KNOW I just plugged it in thank you very much, I'm the one who just did it!!!! I've turned off every notification I can find, and short of putting the phone in Silent mode nothing turns it off.

Is it mounting the SD card when you plug in the USB cable?

If so, try this:

Menu-settings-sound-, then uncheck SD card notifications.

I've got it set to "charge only" when the USB is plugged in, but it plays the sound reguardless of which setting I choose (I just tried it to be sure). The option for sound notification of SD Card notifications is NOT checked, checking it and then unchecking it did not help.

That was my original thought too, that it as an SD card notification, but turning those off doesn't help.
