Root Droid 2 ROMS

[Old Member]

Is there any way the mods can set up a Droid 2 Roms sub-forum to be a gathering place for Roms. I know it's early in the rooting game for this phone and there aren't a TON of them, but that should be changing shortly. The Incredible has a sub-forum for this and it's very a very convenient place to go for Roms.

I bought my son a Droid 2 and I HATE HATE HATE Moto-Blur. I'm looking for a good STABLE (if there are any now) ROM to flash on his phone without Blur. I think I found one last night at XDA, but it didn't seem stable.

Any thoughts?

There's a thread on this page called "Droid 2 ROMs and Themes" we just can't get a mod to make it a sticky

Also I highly recommend Fission. Its blurless and makes the phone much snappier

I would second this. Hope to get my D2 next week and try some rooting and ROM's.
