When I send a text to multiple people, everyone can see what everyone else writes. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Help Droid 2 texting issue

When I send a text to multiple people, everyone can see what everyone else writes. Is there a way to turn this feature off?
You say Droid 2, but do you mean Droid 3?
In the messaging app, menu->messaging settings. Turn off "thread group conversations". I believe that creates separate conversations for each messages.
If you just want to reply to the sender, you can long-press on a received message and select "reply to sender". Or you can tap the photos at the top of the thread next to "multiple recipients" and choose the person to whom you want to send.
