Droid and the Mac

rampant

Lurker
So, I have a Mac, and I am trying to get it to talk to my droid to upload wallpaper, etc.

I haven't gotten this to work and the manual wasn't helpful at all.

What is required?

I was able to get mine working with my Mac by just plugging in the USB cable and turning on USB on my Droid (you'll get a notification about it once you plug in). Then, there's a new drive (looks like a flash drive would) in Finder that you can transfer things to.

Ok, I figured it out.

Plug the usb cable into both.

A notification will pop up (fast, so it is easy to miss) that USB is connected.

You will now have an icon in the top left of the screen. Tap on that and DRAG down to the bottom of the screen.

You should now see the USB notification.

click on that and select MOUNT.

GOOGLE: make this simpler. You have that power on/off utility that was easy to find. Just put USB on here or something.
