Droid Bionic Duplicating Contacts

I have changed from a black berry to a droid bionic. Now I started with 290 contacts, but they keep on doubling it seems every time it syncs. Now my phone contacts look fine but in outlook it shows over 100,000 contacts. How can I fix this?
