Ok so i know there's a hell of a lot of posts about how to convert the bionic to other services ie straight talk, boost, att.
However, I am no techy and pretty lost, so if anyone can help me with these few questions so i can get the ball rollin in tryin to switch a verizon bionic to straight talk i'd really be grateful.
Q's :
am too poor to just buy one for straight talk so any insight, links, programs would help. i've been up 2 days straight learning as much as i can but i can only understand what;s explained. personally i dont care why blah=blah, i just want a newer phone a simple step 1: ---- or (link) would be dank
I currently have motorola device manager installed, and have rooted using motofail;
tried messing with the build.prop using romtoolbox; dont know how to even find build.prop
with my comp.

Q's :
- Does the phone have to be active through a carrier (currently deactivated)
- do i or do i not need to root (i;ve seen both ways posted)
- does radiocomm only work for xp
- how can i get a v for radiocomm newer than 11.3
- is there any easy route to get this done w/o 200,000 steps (probably not, right? right.)
- and what is jelly bean or gingerbread
- and where do i put these mods at? any particular folder location on the phone?
