Yup ...I've done the unthinkable! I've cheated...lol
Ok Seriously, I did it, I went out and fell into the Apple bear trap, and got sucked in by the hype....Yes peeps, I picked up an iphone 4s Sunday morning. And as a former iphone user i'll say this, as a phone the iphone 4s is very good, extremely loud and clear. I don't thing any Android phone out there matches the voice quality found on the 4s! Which better change fast, after all, these are phones we're talking about. Moving more into the phone I can assure you that nobody touches Apple when you speak about build quality, this thing is the Bentley of the phone industry, put together like nothing else on the market! However, that's where it begins and ends for the iphone 4s, its by no means a world beater! Yes, I can honestly say that my buy was simply based on impulse and hype .
As a matter in fact the love affair only lasted about 8 hours...and as of now I'm back to my Bionic already....Once u roll with 4G, there's no going back. And that's pretty much where the iphone fails, its just not fast enough! Yes the camera is pretty good, but what good is that when it takes forever to watch a full youtube video, or load a page. I can tell you the Vzw unit deff feels faster then any units previously released on at&t, but nowhere near the LTE 4G devices Verizon has available.
So the end result is that the pretty glass phone, with the talking asst Suri, and great camera were just not enough to lure me away from the little green man and my Bionic....Even with the Bionics shortcomings, I still missed the bigger screen and Android OS.
Well that was my fun filled Suday, complete with a shoot out of Apple and Android...Bionic vs iphone, with the Bionic coming out on top for now! I say for now, because the real test will come in a few weeks when my Bionic will square of against one of its own....(hint hint)
