Just wondering what that's all about I know typically the factory droid box is square and little. The box I got is long and rectangle. Its the original box. But why is it different from others?

the one I got from a guy here on the forums is long and rectangle.
Don't know if its the original or not as this is the only Droid ive ever owned.

I might have to go dig out the boxes my Droid and the wife's came in oddly enough we got one of each even though we bought our phones at the exact same time hers was the rectangle box while mine was the more cube tiny box. On another side note mine ended up getting the bubbly keyboard and hers didn't.

I would love to get a bubbly keyboard :(
Oh well, I'm just happy I got a Droid!

Yeah I saw the link afterward sorry. Yes it does matter what box it came in, why are they different? My keys kinda feel bubbled too more then my other droid.

Not sure exactly when the box changed but when I got my Droid on release day it came in the 'long' box (obviously). My son got his Droid in December and it was still the 'long' box. My sister got her Droid a few months ago and it was in the 'shorter' box. Hers is (obviously) newer and has the really flat keyboard. I don't even think the boxes and keyboard have any correlation, I'm just saying that I've seen both boxes. Moto must be going green because there is substantially less wasted packaging in the small box.

All the cables I have for my droid are labeled as "Ecomoto" in nice green letters, so that is quite possible.
