Droid charge acts weird. Tells USB connected but it's not

My droid charge sometimes goes crazy. A message comes up telling me that USB in use then it quickly starts to scan media then again USB mode. Just cycling.

Any one experienced anything like that

It happened 4 times already and the phone was not connected to any usb cable.

Try getting the Memory card out and restarting the device.
Sometimes it gets recognized as a connection.
