I just got the Droid Charge "Multimedia Desktop Dock." I had the dock for the Droid 1 that I just switched from and enjoyed it. This one, not so much. The idea of the spare battery sounded great. I didn't know the dock app would suck so much.
Is there an alternative dock app to the stock POS?
Some of the other threads have expressed some common complaints about this dock, most of which involve the "desktop cradle app"
First: No ability to change the app shortcuts on the bottom. I'd like to be able to put Handcent in there, and also a way to look up contacts (I like google gesture search)
Second: The "home" button always goes back to the dock app, not the home screen. Grr!
Third: I'd like to customize the background.
Anyone know of a good alternative to the stock dock app? (I tried Launcher Pro and didn't like it)
