Droid connection problems through sec ssid and westell 7500

Hello all. This is driving me crazy. I have a westell 7500 modem/routercombo through centurylink that I am using at my business. The primary wifi is running WPA - straight out of the box - and with the password, everything connects through wifi without an issue. I set up a secondary SSID with no security for our customers, and everything EXCEPT DROIDS can connect to the interent. The devices connect to the router and get a valid IP address and I can see from the router that they are connected. However, there is no connection to the internet. Every search gives "Web page not available" (google comes up). Laptops, non-droid tablets, ipods and ipads can connect, but no DROIDS (including kindles). I have tried to apply security on the secondary SSID, but nothing seems to work. I have the same modem/router combo at home and it behaves the same way. Connect to the primary wifi - no problem. Secondary SSID, droids dont connect. I have an EVO 4d, but I cant get any droid to connect.

Please help!!!!!!

I have a westell 6100 and have the same issues. All other devices work fine (Satellite Receiver,BlueRay, wii, laptops, original kindle, ipod) but not my android devices (droidx replaced with droid bionic and wife's kindle fire).
The fire worked once for an hour or two the first day. That was about 3 months ago.

I have a westell 6100. My android devices all connect to my WAP and recieve valid IP addresses. I can ping back to the westell router but not beyond it. In the westell admin "My network" page I can see the device but it is unknown and there is no connection. As said before, All other devices, even an brand new apple product work flawlessly.

My bionic will work on an open public wifi, but not a secure wifi.
I have tried WPA and now using WPA2 tkip+aes. I filter mac addresses and they are correct (otherwise I wouldn't get past WAP). It seems to be the modem/router. For what ever reason it won't allow connections from android devices.

I have tried:
power down all devices.
reset modem (pain in the .... Learned about the verizon/redirect the hardway)
Westell firmware is uptodate (according to verizon)

I even made a table of possible combination on the WAP,
SSID Broadcast enables, disabled.
WEP B only, WEP G only WEP mixed
WPA B only TKIP, WPA B only AES, WPA.... you get the point.

Took me 2 evenings and most settings worked for all other devices, but none have worked for bionic and my network was well configured when Kindle fire arrived. I wasn't about to change the whole net so the fire could download a few books and games.

Is this an android issue or westell issue?

Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
