Droid Contact Sync

Okay new to the Android, our work is in the process of dropping Blackberries and swapping to droids or iPhones. With that being said I am noticing some issues I hope are easy fixes that someone here can help me with.

My main overwhelming concern is regarding multiple accounts and contacts. I as I mentioned have a droid through my employer and have in "My Accounts" a corporate Sync to our company server. I also have a goodle account, a e-mail account to my gmail on google, which I am not sure that I need booth, a skype account and a backup assistant account. I am noticing that in my contacts I am not getting all my contacts to sync right from any of these accounts. My question is the phone contacts, what account do those reference and is there a way to edit that? In a perfect world what I want to do is to be able to see my work and gmail contacts in when I hit my contacts button. Right now I am seeing about half and half for some reason and there has been some duplication of information with in the contacts.

Is there something that I should or can do to help remedy this?

The best thing to do is get on a computer and log onto gmail.com. Once you're logged in, near the top left of the screen it'll say "Gmail" in red letters with a little drop down. Select this and go to Contacts. First of all you can then "find and merge duplicates" to get rid of any repeat contacts. Then I would manually enter any contacts you're missing. It takes a little time but once you have all your contacts in gmail you will love it.

Yes a little wierd right after I posted this I was trying to think of a way to test this. I made a new contact in my gmail and wound up seeing it on my phone in about 45 seconds. My main issue was that one of my family members contact was in my gmail and in my contact it is noted as being starred in my droid, but I cannot locate that contact on my phone. I ended up making a duplicate contact on my gmail with the same info and deleted the original. All was well. I am noticing there are about a half dozen contact like the one I just mentioned. Not sure if I am experiencing a bug or something, but that is what is happening.
