Lurker
I have a Droid Razr Maxx system version "98.72.165.XT912.verizon.en.us", android version 4.1.2. Trying to download my photos, videos so I can switch phones but it's not recognizing my phone. I was just able to download photos yesterday, now I can't. Suggestions appreciated.

Btw, it's also saying the mobile network state is disconnected.

When you say "it" isn't recognizing your phone, do you mean your PC? I might recommend installing Box or Dropbox as a workaround, syncing your photos/videos to the cloud, then downloading them that way.

Otherwise, I'd reinstall the PC drivers if you haven't already done so.

My computer isn't recognizing my phone. The question is why am I getting a device not recognized error and why is it saying the mobile network state is disconnected. installing Dropbox is not going to fix the not recognized error message or the disconnected error. I am not installing anything on an already unstable phone and risk killing it completely. I don't know what drivers you are referring to. There aren't any PCA drivers that recognize phones. I have the phone set for media storage so it should recognize it. It's the same exact setting I used just hours prior.
