Droid EMAIL outbox frozen

Hi:
I have a DROID HD phone and have got 3 emails STUCK in my outbox and cannot seem to find a way to remove them, msg is "trying to send", no go though.
any ideas on how to clear this file??

Go to the actual email account (the Gmail web page if it's a gmail account), find them and delete them.

If what I suspect is happening - the To addresses are bad - they'll be dropped after a week or two anyway.
