If you mean your phone - you didn't lose it, you sold it. And it's being very well taken care of.
So far so good. It's almost 11 am and I have yet to do any actual work.
I LOVE the back on my Dinc. And I'll wait now - I figure I'll let everyone else work out the bugs and then come february maybe I'll think about it.

i LOVE my HTC but the rents are getting me a new phone for christmas on verizion and i am thinking about the IncHD or the prime... or if the ICS codes get released like they are susposed to then i may not upgrade at all and just stick with what i got ... id k it is to be forseen

Still very busy, but it looks like we may have it under control. Still working 60 hour weeks, though I hope that will end in the next week or so. Just in time for physical inventory of the warehouse and preparations to move to a new location

Only problem is Monday is gonna suck cause I only did the bare minimum today. Lol. BUT, my phone looks pretty after setting up the rom and theme and mods.

I'm dying here. Seriously! I feel like I've lost my fifth appendage when my phone took a swim yesterday. I am always so careful with it and always keep it far away from water, including the big, bad toilet. I went to get a kleenex and it fell out of my sweater pocket to take a dive into the toilet (think it's time to teach the little boys to put the lid down like they do with the seat). It's been sitting in rice for about 24 hours. I really hope that does the trick because it'll have to be another 2 weeks before I can afford the Asurion deductible and I really would rather not have a refurb. I'm pretty sure I'll be out of luck to get a new Inc1 and will fight to get another HTC phone. No Motorola or LG for me. I want Sense!
I know BBK can't stand his Inc2, but what does the rest of you think about it? I'm guessing they'll send me that one. I know the specs are great, but the size turns me off. I'm tiny and I love how the Inc1 fits perfectly in my hand.
Any other tips to revive it? I heard something about baking it in the oven, but that scares me!

Ouch, another tragedy. We seem to be having a lot lately. How'd the drying out go?
I honestly haven't tried to turn it on yet. It was on when it got wet and looked fine, but I immediately took out the battery and dried it off. The battery compartment was completely dry except for a few drops of water. I had just bought a Seidio Surface case which kept the battery water sensor from getting wet (but not the main one), so I was hoping that it would help protect it a bit more. I turned it on again and the screen was black with a bit of flickering. I'm worried I fried it when I did that. I haven't touched it since I put it in the rice Friday night except to gently shake it to see if I could hear any water sloshing. I could try it, but I've heard the longer you wait, the better. I may try it tonight.
I was just going to reactivate my Dare for a few weeks until I get paid (teachers only get paid once a month, which completely sucks), but I have a new concern with that. If I reactivate a feature phone instead of immediately filing a claim with Asurion, will I lose my grandfathered-in smartphone data plan? I always use at least 3GB so I don't want to go to tiered data.
I can't go without a phone too much longer as I have two little kids and no other phone at my house.
I did see that someone just got the Inc1 from Asurion last week, so there is hope, but the longer I wait, the less chance I have to get one.

RIP dear Incredible! I brought it in to VZW and it was pronounced DOA. The charging light wouldn't even come on. The guy did affirm that it would be a bad idea to activate my Dare. He's seen some grandfathered people allowed to stay on unlimited data, but most lose it even if they've been told they'd get to keep it.
So, I decided to call Asurion just to see what I would get. She immediately said they had Inc1 in stock, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones! I was playing with the Inc2 in the store and it's nice, but I'd miss the trackball and the size. Netflix would be about the only benefit to it. I was thinking that if this refurb is screwed up, I'll get the Inc2 as a replacement. I still have to wait until Tuesday to get it though.
Oh, and the best thing besides getting an Inc1 is that my deductible was only $50!!!! I thought it'd be closer to $100 like the VZW guys said it would be. I knew I was grandfathered in on the monthly pricing, but had no idea that it applied to the deductible as I didn't get my Inc until last October after the change in deductibles occurred.

Only 1 more day until I get it back! Over four days is a very, very long time without it! I hope UPS just leaves it at my house since I can't get away from work until 4 and they usually come around 3. I never realized how much I use my phone until now. My ol' laptop doesn't know what to do with so much use!

oh i can retract thoes statments now that root is here and we can do whatever we want again it has really grown on me and the bigger screen is awesome the only thing i miss would be the trackball
