Are the benefits of a factory reset real? Or is it something along the lines of charging the battery before you use it? (i.e. pure myth?)

Depends on how clean your phone was before the update. I know a fresh install tends to go better than trying to upgrade because of garbage in the old install causing issues with the updated apps/system. If you aren't experiencing any of the various reported issues, you are probably good to go without the reset.

Well I was rooted so I had to go back to stock, no worries, Titanium is amazing ;)

Gingerbread?? Can we wait until Froyo is even done...or a couple of months :eek:
 
hey guys, i should preface my prob with i have s-off leaked 2.2....i cannot sign into yahoo...i go to yahoo.com click sign in, then it redirects you to sign in right?, wrong it skews the page 3/4 right and i cant even see the sign in box...any suggestions?

thanks for the help...the forums here are awesome

I dont know, :confused: reassurance? ego-complex? stupidity?? (jk) but its not like 3.0 isnt as major as 2.2 :)
 
Yeah, I'll try not to think about it, you go nuts once you know VZ has it (had psychotic episode) JK! ;) Well the rollout ends 9/3 (read on DroidLife) so two days left! :) Check often.
 
At this point, I don't even know what 3.0 is supposed to be adding other than a new UI. (Granted, I haven't tried to find out.) It's going to be a long while though, I imagine, before it comes our way.

I'm having too much fun with Froyo to worry about Gingerbread. Once it gets closer I'll be more than ready for it.
