Droid Incredible vs Droid Shadow

So the droid shadow as been seen a couple times now and it has me debating as to whether or not I should go ahead and get a Incredible or wait for the Shadow.

Honestly my biggest concern about the two phones is that I would prefer to have stock android over the Sense UI on the Incredible. I have heard through a couple posts/comments that the Motoblur on the Shadow will be able to be turned off and you can use stock android, which would be great because I heard Motoblur is terrible. Is this possible on other phones with Motoblur or not really?

Also, what does it take to put a stock android ROM on the Incredible or Shadow? Maybe that would be my best bet.

You can turn off sense and use stock android as well. So, if that is your only concern, I would go ahead and get the Incredible.

Really? I didn't know that. How do you do it?

I recall reading an article on androidcentral about how the Incredible was one of the first HTC phones that you were not able to choose whether you wanted to boot into Sense or into stock android.

I think that one is a fake. I always find it just so unusual why all these leaks would ONLY have just 1 image. If I had a phone like that, I would be doing all I can with the device before returning it... like Gizmodo did with their iPhone prototype.

Well there was a second picture, but it was of the box:

Also, I found the article about how you cant just disable Sense on the Incredible like you can on the EVO or Desire. It seems that they have removed the files for stock android:
Can you turn off the Sense UI on the Droid Incredible? Mmmmmm ... Not just yet | Android Central

They mention a launcher, the Helix Launcher 2. What does this do? Is it like a boot launcher that lets you boot into a full verson of stock android?

I have also read rumors that the new phone will be running Blur. If you don't want Sense, I'd bet money that you don't want Blur either.

Haha that would be correct. But I have heard that monoblur can be disabled fairly easily, similar to how Sense can be disabled as long as the stock files are still there, which they are not on the incredible it seems.
