Help Droid Locks when I press "T"

Hey guys,
I have a huge problem with my droid 2.
When ever I press the button "T" on the physical keyboard the phone locks up.
I have no idea why it does that. It worked perfectly fine last night ... Sent a few texts and everything was ok ... Does anyone have an idea what i could do to fix this? I took the battery/sim-card/sd-card out but that didn't help. I kinda hope there is a way to get it back to normal without restoring it to the original (factory?!) settings.

I'd really appreciate your help.

More craziness: Instead of the "T" it writes "5?n" with a single press of the "T"-button ... I can see it during the locking process and also when I unlock it again afterwards

Are you using the stock keyboard? I'd try factory resetting, and if that doesn't work call up tech support and have them send you a replacement.

Yeah I wound up doing the factory reset a couple of hours ago ... Unfortunately didn't help ... So I gotta ask them for a new one I guess...
