Help droid mini won't connect to router

My droid mini Motorola x8 won't connect to try router to use WiFi I reset the router I'm stuck

ohhhm's not to be a snark [sudo-nano-android-kernel] but if there is a reset button on your router
did you try to turn your phone off to unlock the ip and refresh once the router opens the ports?

The IP will only become available once the lease time, set in the router's DHCP config section, has expired; within that time period the device will be assigned the same IP address on every connection.

The first thing to check (imho), assuming that the password and security mode e.g. WPA2 are correct, is the encryption protocol. Over the years I've found AES to (usually) work with all devices, whilst TKIP has proven problematic.
