DROID Newb

Greetings all. This is my first DROID (Motorola X2) coming from a CrackBerry. I'm not in IT, not a gamer, etc., but I want to get the most out of this new "tool" (toy? haha) so I figured I'd join.

First things first, I want to delete the bloatware and search around this forum for additional basic "getting started" procedures to follow.

To really remove or freeze bloatware you will probably have to root your phone. For that try the Droid X2 root sub-section here:

Some Launchers, like Launcher Pro will let you hide bloatware, which can be good enough for some people -- depends on how much it bothers you
