Help Droid not turning on?

Well so after a cross country meet I had my Droid 2 in my backpack and I was going to call my dad. It wouldn't turn on, so I thought that it was just because my battery died. When I got home the next day, I charged it for a while and then turned it on, but it still wouldn't charge. I'm thinking that it is dead, but the charger is messed up because I didn't see anything on the Droid that was blinking, so I think that means its not charging. Can someone please help me?

Did you try a battery pull? It could help.

Otherwise stop at the store.

Try plugging the charger into a different socket, or try a different charger, or see if it will charge through the usb cord?

Wow. The charger is a little messed up. It could go into my sockets both ways (Facing east, facing west) but it facing west finally got it charging. Strange....
