Droid Photo help needed

Can anyone give me the steps to take photos off my Droid and put on my laptop? Really appreciate help. Bears hit my bird feeders last night and want to save the photo results. Thank you.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Which model Droid do you own? There are a growing list of phones that people now refer to as Droids.

Have you installed your manufacturers USB drivers on your PC yet? If not then I'd recommend you do so. Once the drivers are in place you should be able to connect your phone to the USB cable that it came with and connect the other end to a USB port on your PC. Your PC should then recognize that the phone has been connected and load the correct drivers. If you get an error then there's a problem that will need to be resolved first.

Once the drivers are loaded successfully you should be able to bring up Windows Explorer and look at the contents of the phones internal drive. Somewhere on this drive the camera app will be storing your photo's. Find this directory and then copy the files from that location onto your PC.
