Droid Pro- Not what we expected.

One thing i really wished could've been included in this phone (that i love about the BBerry) is the ability to.. from the home screen, start typing ina contacts name and it will pull them up. When you start typing anything on the Droid Pro from the home screen, it starts searching google.. so i guess that's kinda cool if that's what you're into, but this is suppose to be an enterprise phone so i don't see the use.

You can configure what you'd like to include in the search. In fact by default it does include a contact search as well as the google search but you need to scroll down to see the contacts. I removed the Google search from mine to make it more like the BB in that I can start typing a name and it pulls up the contact(s) that match(es)

And after you have configured the default search to include contacts (and remove web or whatever), just add a search widget on one of your homescreens. That widget can also be configured to search any or all choices.
