Droid Pro recalled

According to BestBuy sales rep where I was getting a replacement for my DInc (touch screen issues).

I went thru 2 Droid Pros before that i returned due to dust under screen.

She doesn't know why they are being recalled, but BB doesn't sell them here anymore.
 
I don't think that's quite right. According to recent reports, Best Buy ran into some issues because they were undercutting the price of the Droid Pro and Verizon was none too pleased about that since it dipped into their profit margin. There were issues activating Best Buy phones and now they don't sell them anymore.
 
So, there is a recall, just not by verizon :-)

Either way, I'm glad it worked out this way. I absolutely love HTC Incredible, despite the lack of keyboard, which I am learning to tolerate with the help of swype. Extra screen real estate is more valuable to me, it turns out. And there are tons of custom ROMs, kernels, recovery consoles atc. already available for it, so it's fun to tinker with :-)

Oh, and no dust!
