Root Droid Pro SBF

Lurker
Hi guys, I've had the Pro for a while now but I'm just now deciding to root (I'm a n00b I know). I did a little research on phandroid, verizon forums, google, etc and think I'm understand the process well enough now.

Before I actually root, though, I'd like to obtain an SBF for the Droid Pro. There are previous posts about a Droid Pro SBF, but the links they contain do not work. Can someone please post a working link to a droid pro SBF? Also, a working link to RSDlite? Okay, Update, I purchased and installed the Team Black Hat app and they have the latest SBF there, but please, answer my questions below.

Finally, I just wanted to list the steps as I understand them and ask you guys to correct me if I'm wrong. My caution may be annoying, but I really want to avoid bricking my phone, especially if a SBF is no longer available.

1. Download Aroot to computer
2. Download most recent Motorola USB drivers (which I've already done)
3. Connect Phone to computer in USB Debugging mode.
4. Turn on Charging only mode (How do I do this?)
5. Double click on the Aroot .exe to root phone
6. Done

Finally, what are some essential root apps? I've heard titanium backup, etc, please let me know.

i wouldnt use aroot, find gingerbreak 1.20 its the way to go,and that will never fail,i have done close to 83 droid pro.s for people and gingerbreak is the best
