What is the required temp for the battery? I have a widget and it says the temp is 91.4F? That seems a little high to me?

Hello ArmyWife and welcome to AF glad to have you aboard no I think that seems a little high how often do you use it? make sure to turn off WI FI GPS Data when your not using it also using certain apps can warm it up nicely try this thread http://androidforums.com/htc-desire/62325-battery-temperature.html
for more info on this multitasking can also do this too any device that gets hot is not good and can cause harm to your device if it's not regulated also don't use your phone if it's charging that too makes the battery hot also check this thread out http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid-razr-maxx/491437-razr-maxx-runs-hot.html people having the same problem with it heating up I hope I was helpful if you have anymore questions feel free to ask have fun and enjoy the forums

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

I see that you have found your phone's area of support. There you'll find lots of interesting tips & tricks on your phone. As far as your battery temperature is concern; if you are using the device and charging the battery at the same time, chances are that the battery might get a little warm, however...if it just gets hot without heavy usage, then you might have a defective battery.

Note: Sometimes most users mistakenly think that its the battery getting hot, but in fact..it is the device radio (little above the battery) that gets hot when using the device for a long period of time.
