Droid RAZR has changed my perception.

I say this not as a joke or tongue in cheek.

I went into Verizon yesterday and couldn't help but notice how darn "thick" all the phones felt. Now I know this is not the truth but after owning the RAZR for a few weeks everything feels clunky and thick to the point of it being very noticeable.

If I ever move away from the brand that will be something I will have to adjust to.

I can see that, though I would prefer the device being a tad thicker for a replaceably battery. This is the first device I have not had an extended battery on. I can take a battery back to plug in, but one more thing to remember and lug on long days or trips.

Some folks like form over function. Others like it the other way around. I like both, but if I'm forced to give up functions that I deem important, I don't buy products that are more form than function. that's one of the reasons I don't like Apple products. Sleek, they are; fully functional and well priced they are not. NO ONE will ever convince ME that I don't want Flash!!

lol yes...and there is no longer a huge bulge in my jeans!!!

I do like how thin it is, but I do wish it was a little skinnier. However, my biggest complaint with the form factor is that the hump makes it top heavy, which I why I think people say one handed use can be awkward. If the hump was at the bottom, I think it would go a long way towards giving you something to hold onto while one handing it.

I'm gonna agree this phone will spoil you. Light, thin and very sturdy. Besides the bezel being a tad too wide, it is awesome. And I've gotten used to the power and volume buttons already. I thought they were a bitch to use at first, but don't even give them a second thought now. I couldn't go back to my DX2 which feels like a brick now. I picked up a rezound yesterday, and it felt hefty, although it still feels good in-hand. Not as nice as the RAZR imo though.

When I was out in CA (I live in VA) over the holidays all my family and friends who I handed my RAZR too were astounded at how thin and light it was. My family, who are staunch i*hone fools, were even amazed by it. The mentioned that it was a bit bigger than theirs, but that the fact it was lighter didn't make sense. The unfortunate thing for them, and for many people I know, is that with the carriers going to tiered plans, unless you don't mind the high cost, you are stuck where you currently reside and that means many are stuck with the i*hone to retain their grandfather status. At any rate, I digress...my RAZR impressed everyone who held it.
