Droid Razr maxx battery indicator??

Can you get a % indicator on the top of your phone? My friend has it for the droid razr? and I was just wanting to know if I can get it? Like I mean the little battery symbol then it would say "56%"

I don't know what the Maxx can do out of the box, but there are apps that can put a % indicator in the notification area.

If you are rooted you can modify the battery indicator, e.g. using the UOT kitchen.

Do you know what apps there are that do that to the notification area? I know that it does not do it out of the box. I have looked at everything lol I'm also not looking to root my phone right at this time.

I did a quick search on the play store (search string "battery notification bar") and turned up a few options. The secret is often just knowing that something exists

Since I am rooted and themed I've not used any of these myself, but going by the ratings a number of them seem to do the job.

There is a plethora of apps and widgets in Play (Market). A quick search brings up these

I use Make Your Clock Widget Pro, not sure if the free version has the battery indicator or not.

He's looking for a notification bar indicator, not a widget.

I use Big Text Battery Notifier. I prefer it since its the only one I can find that detects how long I've been charging or unplugged right at the notification.
