droid sounds/alerts/ringers spontaneously stop working

This is really annoying and concerning. Anyone having this problem and not using a task killer? Obviously phone on,off fixes, but worried about missing call.

Pretty sure its a well known issue/bug with phone. No one else seen it? Twice in life of my Droid.

I have had this same issue. On occasion the phone wont switch back to the loud speaker on the back after ending a call. Instead all the sound (media, music, videos, games and the ringer itself) will all continue to come from the ear piece witch isn't loud enough to hear unless your holding it to your ear. The only way I have found to correct it is to power the device off/on. In 7 days it has happened 4 times. UNACCEPTABLE!

It's a known issue.

Hopefully they will be able to correct the issue in the upcoming patches...
