I own a 64 gb Droid Turbo with (according to the settings) 43 gb available. Last night I was in a car accident and my phone was charging. It may have gotten thrown around a bit, but I'm not sure. It must have, because it hardly works anymore. Here are the problems I am having:
1. Every time it boots up now it gives a notice "Android is starting, optimizing app ## of ##," it never used to do this.
2. It claims that it doesn't have enough space for the system, but according to settings there is 43gb of available space. I tried clearing the downloads, cached data, and misc. files to no avail.
3. Around the time of the accident, the battery graph goes haywire, leading me to think there may be internal damage. It is choppy and incomplete, sometimes having data and sometimes having nothing.
4. I tried to reset the phone, and it said it was erasing everything, but on reboot everything was the same. Nothing had been deleted.
5. Whenever you turn the phone on, it alternates between two states, once it claims there are 62 or so apps to optimize and takes about a minute on each, meaning it takes over an hour to boot. The other time it says there are 200 or so apps to optimize, and it boots up in about 5 minutes or so.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on? If not, where should I take the phone/who do I call to get it fixed?
