Help Droid Turbo not charging?

I've had the Droid Turbo for just under two weeks. I've had an issue twice were I put it to charge overnight, but it drained the battery instead of charging. The charge icon is up, but it wasn't actually charging. The first time, I used an old charger, but the second, I used the turbo charger that came with the phone. I've had to plug it in about five times before it started to actually charge.

Has anybody else had this issue or know of a way to fix it?

Welcome to Android Forums.

From the description I would guess that you have lint or some other crud in the female socket at the bottom of the Turbo. Have you tried cleaning it out with a toothpick and compressed air? Have you also checked the male plugs to see they are clean?

Did you buy it new form Verizon?

I did buy it new from Verizon. Cleaning it seems to have worked. Thanks!
