droid vs blackberry email

I love the droid after having it for 5 months now, the only thing i miss about my blackberry was that i was able to keep my emails indefinately as a reference in case i needed info contained in the email my droid automatically deletes it after a few hours.

any help?

Tried setting up as POP vs IMAP?

Use the IMAP, it could make you just "reference" to the mail message, but not download to your phone. And you could manage your mail box in any client in a sync way.

I always using IMAP, it's easy to do.
