Droid X androidmarket help

When the software upgrade came out months ago, I updated it and lost my android market app,

Can Anyone help please:D

When you say lost your market app, do you mean that the app disappeared from your phone? Or that it stopped working?
 
As this may sound like a dumb question I'll apologize in advance.

There are normally two icons for the market on the phone, a link on the home page and an icon for the app in the app drawer. If only the link on the home screen disappeared this can be resolved by re-creating the shortcut. If the icon for the market in the app drawer disappeared... thats another challenge entirely.
