Root Droid X Boot Loop Issue

Champ91

Lurker
Droid X
Got the phone rooted. THen did the latest Gingerbread update.

Got Clockworkmod Rom Manager and Recovery as well as Bootstrap.

Definatly did something wrong though. I did a backup thru Rom Manager. Downloaded Roms thru RM. Liquid 2.6 i think was the version.

Made it thru to reloading and now I am stuck in a loop. I get the red droid eye and then it reboots, gets to the eye and resets. etc.

I can hold the power, menu, down volume and that gets me to the stock back up. NOT CW Recovery menu. Its blue 4 options.

I've done all 4 options. Nothing.

Sinking gut feeling is I messed it up to the point its a loss. Need help.

Oh - battery is low. Doesnt seem to be charging. Been on charger all day.

Ideas?????? And yes been doing searches and not having any success yet.

First of all lets move this to the root section. :D

Second, you didn't do your homework. Always flash with a full battery since you can't charge from the bootloader.

You'll need to get that battery charged, either by swapping with a buddy or take your battery to Verizon and ask if they can charge it for you.

Then you need to SBF back to 602, then root it. See the stickies at the top of the page.

Then you can update and restore your backup or whatever.

When you get this all figured out you can post the number of sbf's in a day in this post: http://androidforums.com/droid-x-all-things-root/425275-what-most-times-you-have-sbfed-one-day.html

I did the Rom install with full battery. Its dead now as it was in bootloop and not charging while I was trying to get it to fix.

Have a buddy with another DX will see if I couldswap batteries.

Will look at SBF. Thanks.
