So over the course of this week I've had so much fun with my DroidX. I had been running ApeX custom ROM if I remember right for about a year, the phone was rooted and running many apps. The phone had been having battery issues it seemed so I was thinking about flashing back to stock, funny thing is that my phone beat me to it. This week the phone got a corrupted OS or something and was stuck in boot loop so I was trying to flash back to stock but the battery died mid flash. Long story short I finally got the phone back to stock and to .621 android version 2.3.4 after getting two new batteries.
The issue: my MENU and BACK key light up but don't work it seems. Along with the down volume key. I would love to have these working again as it's bugging me majorly.
I read about an application called BUTTON Savior or something and am wondering if I root my phone again if the back and menu key virtually will work? Also is there a way to fix the hard keys? (Especially the volume down cause that's needed for system recovery).
