I've been on CM7 for quite some time now..and just recently began having some issues with my GPS. Yesterday I went to use Google maps and it would not fix satellites.. I tried sbf back to 621.. then to 604 milestone like I have always done but it seems the GPS does not want to work, not only for Google maps, but other apps as well..this is all part of my conspiracy theory I have about the phone manufacturer... I bet they program them to go bad...and I'm just about ready for my upgrade to from Verizon..how about that..lol.. I don't want the upgrade yet!! This really blows..anybody else have GPS trouble at about the two year mark?

Well, I think it is officially dead now..A month ago I did an LCD replacement, and somehow the bottom buttons did not work anymore after the repair. I thought it was gone then, but zmooth app took care of the no button issue. Then the gps went bad.. Well, I did wipe data, and did the 621 sbf. Being it had to be rooted to work the zmooth app, I did not test the gps in 621. I flashed to milestone, rooted, then tried gps and still no go. So, I tried again yesterday, just to see if another wipe and sbf would work. I was on MIUI at the time and noticed another recovery called rzr.. so I tried it, wiped data with it, then went into Bootloader and sbf'd to 621. Now its stuck in a boot loop.. and I can't get into stock recovery because the buttons don't work.. lol.. I know in the past it has gone into recovery on its own, but no matter how many battery pulls, it still wont go in to stock recovery so I can wipe again to maybe fix the boot loop... any ideas on getting into the recovery or accessing anything from a pc? Or is it truely dead.. I have a droid 4 coming as a replacement, but would love to get the old droid x back just for another device to have with a good camera. And I did see the new way, but being a creature of habit, I did not want to try the new method yet, although it sounds easy..
