Root Droid X Root bootloop

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums for this specific problem but I hope to stay for a while! I'm facing a problem with a bootloop. I was changing ROMs from Liquid Smooth ICS to AOKP ICS on my Droid X. I followed all instructions (as always) and when I went to install the AOKP zip, clockwork got stuck trying to open it. So in vain, I tried to turn my phone off and hope for a chance to manually boot into clockwork recovery. I'm now stuck in a bootloop. I know, I shouldn't have rebooted my phone but this was the first time I've dealt with this situation. I didn't initially root my phone, a friend did. He then showed me how to change the ROMs. I could do that perfectly fine, but I have no idea about the rest of the process. I need my phone for a couple more weeks until I get my pre-ordered Galaxy Note 2 :) but until then I need to find a way to fix this. If anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Alright can you tell me how to flash to Android? If it involves my computer, it won't detect a device when I plug my phone in. Thanks for the help.

boot to stock android Recovery
with phone off, press and hold home button, press power
wait to you see android andy, a triangle, and a !
release home, and press both volume buttons at same time
when you see android recovery screen, release volume buttons
scroll with volume buttons, select with power
select wipe cache, confirm, select reboot
with phone boots normally, your done
if it bootloops, go back to recovery, and wipe data
if phone still bootloops, you need to use .sbf

use the 4.5.605 ezsbf Gingerbread unless you know you had 4.5.621
then use Milestone X 4.5.604 ezsbf or rsd lite and 4.5.621 sbf

Those two options didn't work, I'm not sure how they would've worked though? I do have an option to apply an update from my sd card then it lets me go through some files. If that won't work, can you walk me through sbf-ing? I'm completely new to this situation. He showed me how to change ROMs but I haven't dealt with this situation.

Pshh, I might just get my friend to show me how to do it.. Thanks alot for your help but my computer is kinda sluggish and I have absoloutely nothing to do with root installed on it. I'll be sure to learn all of this. I'd love to become a developer, maybe for root and or applications on Android at some point. Any advice or experience you could let me in on? Again, thanks alot.
