Droid X to Milestone?

Hey guys. Im new to the DX forums, but not to flashing or modifying phones. I am currently on the nTelos network and am getting a Droid X from a guy I work with that is currently on Verizon. On nTelos, they have the same phone labeled as the Milestone X. After doing some research, my understanding is that if I flash the nTelos PRL and then call up nTelos, I can use the Droid X on my network since they are essentially the same phone. My question is two fold. One, is this true? Can I simply find the Milestone PRL for nTelos, flash it and be good to go? And two, if so, can someone tell me how to go about this? And I don't want to hear "don't talk about this because its illegal" BS because it turns out there is a law that permits changing carriers. Thanks for any help and I look forward to frequenting this section of Android Forums :)
