Root droid x unrooting 2.2.1

I need to unroot my droid x which is on 2.2.1 because it is having hardware problems and I need verizon to replace it. Thanks.

Just flash sbf 2.2 with rsdlite 4.8. That will unroot it and bring the phone up to date.

I cannot see my droid x in RSD lite. I see it in adb devices when it is turned on regularly but not in the boot loader.
