I've been searching around but haven't quite found the answer to my issue so I'm wondering if anyone else has found something.
My Droid X is running the latest update 2.3.3. I have noticed that when I use the slider on the lock screen, the slider itself turns to a vibrate icon, but the icon on the top right of the screen changes to silent mode (no vibrate at all). The phone also doesn't vibrate. However, at some point the slider worked correctly. I just don't know when it stopped.
Interestingly, if I open the settings, and simply go to the sounds option, the sound changes back to vibrate and the icon on the top right becomes the vibrate icon instead of the silent icon. I don't have to change anything...just go to sound in the settings.
Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to work around this? I appreciate any input. By the way, I'm really trying not to have to do a factory reset.
