Dropbox alternative?

[resnik]

I'm kinda satisfied with dropbox on my phone, but I do wonder if there is any self hosted alternatives for it?

In principle, I want to access/sync files between my Windows and android, and I do have ubuntu VPS running that could work as midpoint.

There is some software for syncing, but in particular, I need something to work with Android.

Anyone with a good suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

"File Expert" should do what you're talking about. The only thing I don't like about DB is you can't multi pick files. I set up a shared folder on my PC and have that as a "favorite" in File Expert.
